Organized the Riding photos

I realized that some of my riding photos were in the forums and some were in the Photo Albums. So I organized them all and put them all in the Photo Albums in a section called The Rides. Whenever I post new ride pics in the forums I’ll link the ride pics from now on. That way there won’t be anymore duplicates.

Lead Foot Syndrome

I got the pleasure of having a great conversation with the Oregon Highway Patrol on my way home from Washington. Too bad it cost me $427!!! The thing that really sux is that if you get a ticket in one of the surrounding western states it will still carry over to your California license. Wait it gets better! So not only will you get points on your license, but you can’t go to traffic school either. I have to give the CHP a call to confirm that, but according to the Oregon officer…I’m shit outta luck.

Riding in Washington

I just got done doing a ride at Siouxon Creek, Wa. It was a BLAST! Unfortunately the guys I rode with last time were busy with life and couldn’t get out to spin some wheels while I was in town. So the good ole mtbr forums pulled through once again. I met up with a bunch of people that actually live in the same city as where my inlaws live. So now I know some local riders! So we met up off the freeway and all rode together out to the trail head. That was pretty cool to get to know the three others that I was riding with. Real freindly people.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to do because I really didn’t know what to expect. The rides up here are a lot harder on ya then then the miles we put in back in Cali. I guess it’s more of these short steep burst climbs that I’m not really used to…that or the SNOW! Holy Shit I didn’t really think I was going to be riding in the snow. LOL Thank God one of the guys gave me some toe warmers or that ride would have been a disaster.
It is beautiful riding up here. All the moss and undergrowth ferns just make for a great backdrop while riding. There is a lot of creek crossings and logs over the trails. It reminded me of riding when I was a teen in Pennslyvania. The one guy I was riding with was a real trooper. He was jumping over all kinds of stuff and log riding like a champ. It definitely gave me some inspiration to ride a little different. All in all I must say I had a really good time and can’t wait to get back up there again.
*Edit: I got the photo’s up in the Album at: Washington Rides
